As a Technical Sales Support Specialist, you will be responsible for offering technical advice and provides comment on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/sales team with regards to ABB products/systems/applications. Providing technical support during the technical meeting, product presentations and software demonstration. Reporting to Sales Manager, you will be working with sales and proposal team in formulate competitive tenders/proposals considering customer’s requirement, in a timely manner with appropriate level of details, including full and accurate internal and external cost factors.

Your responsibilities

  • Attending customer meetings with sales to conduct technical presentations and clarifications
  • Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine most suitable technical solution to meet customer needs. Proposing technical solutions for complex enquiries
  • Preparing and delivering technical presentation and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers in complex product issues
  • Collaborating with Supply Chain to identify and technically evaluate supplier offer against customer specification
  • Close collaboration with Global R&D team and Local Operations team on technology sharing. Assisting sales on proper project handover to operation in-line with ABB defined processes
  • Collaborating and coordinating with sales in marketing activities, ensures and implement the planned communication, promotion, and training activities
  • Providing technical sales support and training to Channel Partner, ensuring Channel Partners are proficient in ABB products/systems/applications

Your background

  • Graduate/Diploma holder with strong Automation (DCS, PLC, SCADA, DDC) background Experience in Data Centre will be an advantage
  • Good communication and presentation skills, proficient in both Bahasa and English
  • Proficient PC skills, good command of Microsoft Office
  • Independent, reliable, and proactive personality
  • Committed to fostering a “team” approach and achieving successful results
  • Willingness to travel
